The Secret Garden opens in Raleigh

Theatre Raleigh's The Secret Garden opened last night at the A.J. Fletcher Opera House in downtown Raleigh.  A stunning performance from a richly diverse cast.  Skyla Woodard, an actor from Kids Unlimited Talent Agency, as Mary Lennox delivered a beautiful performance of this demanding role.  Among the amazing voices, was Sean McCracken also from KU Talent, as Lieutenant Wright and the amazing vocals of Michael Halling as Archibald Craven.  I also very much enjoyed the voice and endearing performance of Mallory Hawks as Martha.  Under the artistic direction of Lauren Kennedy, this children's classic did not disappoint and the intimate venue made it that much more special.  I was thrilled to see so many young people at last night's performance.  

The Secret Garden runs through August 20th.  Don't miss its magic!
